Lingenfelter Originals welcomes commissions. My goal is to bring an idea to life and to work with clients to create unique, memorable art. Commissions can be anything from watercolor paintings to bronze sculptures and jewelry.
There are several steps involved in commission work which takes us from an initial discussion through the creative process and on to completion of the artwork, which are listed below.
Step 1 – Contact Me
Please provide basic information about what you are looking for or what you have in mind.
Please use the Commission Request Form to tell me more about the commission. If you are not comfortable completing the email form, please phone me at (405) 570-0786.
Step 2 – Discussion
Once I receive your contact information, we can arrange for a time to discuss in detail your ideas and I can go over the entire process.
Step 3 – Pricing
After we agree on the scope of the work, size, materials and time-frame needed, I will provide a price for the completed work.
Step 4 – Design Fee
Before starting any pencil sketches, wax work, or other design work, I require a design fee, which is non-refundable.
Once the initial design is present and reviewed, and after any revisions are made, you will approve the design before actual artwork is started.
A fee of 1/2 of commission balance is due at this time for watercolors, oil paintings and pen & inks and pencil drawings.
A smaller deposit with monthly payments is available for bronzes due to the cost and length of time it take to finish the sculpture.
Step 6 – Artwork completion
Once artwork is completed, I will contact you to discuss shipping and delivery date.
Balance of commission is due before artwork is shipped.
Step 7 – Shipping of Art
Method of shipping will be discussed with client prior to shipping.
